RUSD TRUSTEE EXPERIENCE

After being unanimously appointed to the school board in 2019, I was elected by the Rocklin community at large in 2020 to serve a four year term. I served as President in 2022 and am currently serving as Vice President. Serving the community in this capacity allows me the opportunities to work with others to solve current and upcoming issues that face our district and community.

RUSD INVOLVEMENT

Rocklin is an amazing city and its schools are no exception. We are nationally recognized for our high quality of life, including top rated schools. I love volunteering, and the sense of pride that comes with making a difference, along with doing a job well. Over the years, I have volunteered my time with:

  • Placer County School Board Association, currently serving as President
  • Rocklin High School Parent Club – President
  • Granite Oaks Site Council – President
  • Granite Oaks Middle School Strategic Planning Committee – Member
  • Rocklin High School Strategic Planning Committee – Member
  • RUSD Comprehensive Sexual Health Education Committee – Member
  • Colonial Faire – Chair
  • RHS Career Week – Mock Interviewer

I have also coordinated many teacher luncheons, classrooms and field trips. I believe our schools do best with strong partnerships with parents.
